The Sydney ranges of fittings are contemporary road luminaires that couple the function of a performance luminance optic with the decorative nature required for today’s amenity lighting. The low profile dished glazing provides a minimum of upward light and reduces any obtrusive light spill. The durable cast aluminium body provides strength and smooth body lines. The acrylic opal skirt gives a stylish appearance during the day and an illuminated feature after dark, giving this luminaires its distinctive appeal. The Skirt can be supplied in a number of standard colours for a distinctive lighting effect. By applying a range of differing lamp types and colour temperatures the effects can be tailored to suit the environment. All three sizes of the Sydney luminaire are IP65, this being dust and water tight, with a durable full gasket that is set into the rim casting. Fitted with acrylic dished glazing, to improve the luminaires performance. The cast aluminium body provides superior strength and with the four stud fixings for the bracket plate, ensures that there is no rotation of the fitting. All the lanterns are side mounted and a range of decorative brackets are available. The luminaires are re-lamped by lowering the glazing and skirt assembly.
