This stylish column mounted asymmetric, or symmetric, reflector offers an indirect method of illumination that is glare free, reflecting the light from the lamp situated within the die cast aluminium pole top luminaire. Using the asymmetric reflector system provides a defused directional distribution of light. The tapered column provides an aesthetic form of illumination that provides a feature both at night and by day and is ideally suited for pedestrian areas along with a variety of amenity applications where high uniformity and minimal glare and light intrusion are an issue. The columns are steel galvanised and powder coated to provide a durable finish and are supplied with a flush access door for terminating incoming supplies and electrical cut out provision. The column is flange mounted and can be secured to a foundation using anchor bolts (not supplied).
With an anodised aluminium reflector which is produced in symmetric or asymmetric formations where the secondary reflector which comprises of complex facets positioned to decompose the upward light and reform it into two distributions. This distribution is also adjustable with the reflector being able to tilt from 0º to 15º providing the facility to project the footprint into wider areas that require lighting from perimeter column locations. The post top luminaire is fitted with a tempered glass lens over the lamp. The steel galvanised conical pole is powder coated for a durable finish.
The luminaire is class 1 and is produced in accordance with EN 60598 regulations for compliance. The lamp is protected with a glass diffuser which is sealed with silicone gaskets. The Dallas column mounted luminaire is designed for metal halide lamp with a G12 cap or point source equivalent and will contain the integral gear. The column can accommodate a range of lamp wattages up to and including 150w HQI.
