The
Classic globe range is a traditional lantern manufactured in two die cast aluminium
halves.The finial and ogee set are crafted in Copper and retain the Victorian
Heritage styling of the originals.The lantern has a range of lamp and optical
solutions that will meet current luminaire design standards.This gives the decorative
advantages of a heritage lantern with the maintenance advantages of an easily
removed interior globe for cleaning and relamping.The Classic globe will house
the glass refractor and louvre.The large globe will take the small optic with
a horizontal lamp position,for this application the globe is split in two hemispheres
for ease of access,and also allows an opaque upper section to reduce upward
light.The Classic globe will fulfill a wide range of applications and lamp combinations
ensuring that lighting standards are not compromised.
Durable
die cast hinged outer frame to reveal the interior globe for ease of maintenance
and replacement.Available in three sizes to ensure proportions can be maintained
through a range of mounting heights. The Classic globe has a spigot entry to
suit a 76mm shaft dimension and is able to fit directly onto columns and pedestals
or alternatively onto spigot bracketry allowing multiple options on columns
or wall bracket mounted units.
The
control gear is housed within the base casting with an additional cover to decoratively
hide the gear and lampholder,also allowing the lamp to be raised into the centre
of the globe.In this way,we can accommodate the full range of discharge lamps
and gear and now include compact fluorescent lamps with gear.The table below
gives details relative to the individual lantern.
Direct spigot mounted from the cast aluminium base casting,for 76mm shafts.
Painted to match the frame black polyester as standard.Both of these options
are suitable for column and bracket mounting.Side mounting available for wall
mounting where the base casting is removed to offer a different styling.
Photocells - Single
and two part electronic photocells are available as standard.
Finish variations
- Black polyester powder coating as standard,other RAL colours can be accommodated,but
this is subject to quantity.
