The Arc Luminaire is a decorative pendant, which recreates the traditional look of the carbon arc lantern of the past. Manufactured from a combination of aluminium spinnings and link tubes the fitting is suitable for both traditional and contemporary applications. The luminaire has an IP rating of IP65. The Arc is fitted with a Facet 7 optic and has clear polycarbonate glazing. The 500mm, and 600mm, glazing options offer two luminaires that are ideally scaled for 8m and 10m column applications, suitable for decorative and amenity lighting.
The Arc luminaire has an 1 1 /4 ” BSP threaded coupling and is ideal for mounting from decorative brackets. Manufactured from aluminium spinnings and tubes the gear is housed in the down section of the luminaire body. The lamp and optic are in the lower glazed section of the luminaire, thus when the glazing finial is removed the optic and lamp are available for relamping; the Facet 7 optic supplied is mounted on a removable tray. The lantern is supplied as standard, as a pendant luminaire, in two sizes and will cover a variety of mounting heights and lamp wattages; as the gear is housed away from the lamp electronic discharge gear can be accommodated as the temperature in the gear section of the luminaire is below the required temperatures of electronic gear packages.
All gear is class I wired and a full range of discharge gear can be incorporated within the gear section for easy removal and maintenance. Electronic discharge gear can also be accommodated in the upper section. Photocells are fitted into the body of the luminaire; both single and two-piece electronic cells are available as standard.

Photocells - Single and two part electronic photocells are available as standard and should be factory fitted to maintain the ingress rating of the fitting.

Finish variations - The luminaire is supplied in Black Ral 9005. Other colours are available but may be subject to quantity, and prices may differ.

Luminaire construction - Aluminium spinnings and link tubes with recesses for sealing gaskets for the glazing. The luminaire is secured to the column by means of a threaded coupling to ensure adjustment and security to the column bracket.

The Arc fittings are designed to be pendant luminaires with a threaded coupling to ease installation. The luminaires encompass mounting heights from 8m to 10m and can also be fitted to decorative wall brackets if required.
